The PLA-based copolymeric nanocarrier (NAV/DCB NPs) for the co-delivery of navitoclax (a Bcl-2 inhibitor) and decitabine (a nucleic acid synthesis inhibitor) showed potent in vitro synergistic cytotoxicity against both acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) and breast cancer cell lines with potent tumour growth inhibition on the AML xenografts also [39]. This evidence concerns the gene BCL2 and breast cancer.
