INS and Insulin resistance: Figure 1 indicates a significant (p<0.001) increase in mean insulin activity, MDA, and uric acid levels among patients with insulin resistance compared to those without (p-value<0.001). GSH levels were significantly elevated (p<0.001) in the non-insulin resistance group (control). There were significant differences between insulin-resistant patients and non-insulin resistant group (control) (p<0.001, p<0.001, p<0.01, p<0.05, and p<0.01) for total cholesterol, triglyceride, VLDL, HDL, and LDL cholesterol levels, respectively, as illustrated in Figure 2 (A-E).
