In the analysis conducted for continents, the highest breast cancer risk was observed in the Asian population (Asian: RR = 1.24; 95% CI: 1.15–1.34; I2 = 0.0%, p < 0.001) and in the analysis of estrogen receptor status (ER+: RR = 1.10; 95% CI: 1.03–1.18; I2 = 17.0%, p = 0.005;). This evidence concerns the gene ESR1 and breast carcinoma.
