Importantly, histomorphometric analyses showed that anti-mouse Rankl neutralizing antibody treatment with MC38-EV significantly suppressed liver metastasis, with the same trend for the liver/body weight ratio (Fig. 5C, Supplementary Fig. S8), suggesting that anti-RANKL treatment can be a favorable targeted therapy against OPG-negative CRC liver metastasis.
