In vivo analyses showed that low OPG expression promoted CRC liver metastasis by recruiting CD206-positive TAM to the liver microenvironment, and that the RANKL-RANK pathway blockade with OPG overexpression or anti-RANKL antibody suppressed CRC liver metastasis by inhibiting TAM accumulation (Figs. 4 and 5).
