NFKB1 and diabetic kidney disease: Studies have indicated that when mice with diabetes were exposed to a high-fat diet, either with 01.0% (AST) or 02.12% (AST) for a period of one week, the addition of AST effectively delayed the progression of kidney damage by inhibiting LPS, TMAO, and IL-1 and by modulating the NF-κB signaling pathway, in comparison to the DKD group.
