These proteins mainly involved in the biological process of acute inflammatory response (e.g., SERPINA1, SERPINA3, and CRP), regulation of hydrolase activity (e.g., COL6A3, CTSB, and C4A), reactive oxygen species metabolic process (e.g., CRP, SOD3, and BST1), etc. In summary, the proteins which are dynamically changed in the process of SAR-CoV-2 infection of hiPSC-derived cardiomyocytes, could be associated with important physiological functions of cardiomyocytes; further research on these proteins would be helpful for understanding the long-term effects of COVID-19. This evidence concerns the gene SERPINA3 and COVID-19.
