Both MR and MVMR showed that lowering ApoA-1 and LPA levels had causal effects on the risk of insomnia [MR: per 10 units, ApoA-1: OR: 0.7546, 95% CI: 0.6075–0.9372, P = 0.011; LPA: OR: 0.8392, 95% CI: 0.7202–0.9778, P = 0.025; MVMR: per 10 units, ApoA-1: OR: 0.7600, 95% CI: 0.6362–0.9079, P = 0.002; LPA, OR: 0.903, 95% CI: 0.8283–0.9845, P = 0.021]. This evidence concerns the gene APOA1 and insomnia measurement.
