Interestingly, when subgrouping for Fibroblast and CD8 levels in the different stages, high levels of Fibroblast in Stage II patients correlated with worse overall survival only in patients with low levels of CD8 in the tumour (Fig. S2D), while in Stage III patients high CD8 expression causes better prognosis only when associated with low levels of Fibroblasts and high CD8 expression (Fig. S2D).
