In addition, CIITA and GNLY were identified as significant prognostic factors based on the chi square test, as shown in Table S5, and GNLY expression was highly negatively correlated with TNM stage, lymph node metastasis, and distant metastases (p = 0.026, 0.042 and 0.005, respectively), indicating that lower GNLY expression was related to a poorer outcome for CRC patients in the TCGA dataset. This evidence concerns the gene GNLY and colorectal carcinoma.
