The relevance of these results is reinforced by the fact that loss-of-function mutations of TBX3 are found in 5.64% of all the breast carcinoma patients (https://www.mycancergenome.org/content/gene/tbx3/#ref-3)90 and we showed that they correlate with a significant lower overall survival of HER2-positive breast cancer patients. This evidence concerns the gene TBX3 and breast carcinoma.
