Analysis of The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) datasets revealed that HOMER3 was upregulated in most malignant tumors, including low-grade glioma, breast invasive carcinoma, esophageal carcinoma, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, cholangio carcinoma (bile duct cancer), liver hepatocellular carcinoma, lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) and lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC) (Fig. 1A–C). This evidence concerns the gene HOMER3 and cancer.
