In line with previous publications, healthy controls were found to have mean sera concentrations of 121ng/ml and 25.7ng/ml of FnIII-B and FnIII-C, respectively, which, as for total tenascin-C levels, increased significantly to 557.8ng/ml and 77.3ng/ml in RA patients (Figures 3D, E).
