INS and drug-induced dyskinesia: Regarding the device for continuous subcutaneous injection of levodopa/carbidopa, NeuroDerm, a pharmaceutical company in Israel, has developed a small insulin pump-like pump for 24-h subcutaneous injection of ND0612 (a liquid formulation of the combination drug levodopa and carbidopa) ND0612 is in Phase III clinical trials and has been demonstrated to work for dyskinesia in patients with PD; besides, it is also believed to have a therapeutic effect on IBM (Giladi et al., 2015).
