CXCL9 derived Th1 responses and limited Th2 infiltration, and it was associated with favorable prognosis in small cell lung cancer (Yang L. et al., 2023), however, other studies have reported that CXCL9 binds to CXCR3 in tumors to promote EMT and cancer cell migration (Neo and Lundqvist, 2020). Here, CXCL9 is linked to small cell lung carcinoma.
