PARP1 and cancer: Precision therapies based on the SL mechanism have been gradually applied to cancer, such as PARP inhibitors (Lord and Ashworth, 2017), Farmer and Bryant et al. proposed a new strategy of PARP inhibitors of BRCA1 or BRCA2 for the treatment of breast cancer patients with BRCA mutations (Bryant et al., 2005; Farmer et al., 2005) and Taylor et al. proposed a treatment strategy for patients with locally advanced and metastatic breast cancer with HER2 mutations (Taylor et al., 2021).
