Since enhanced the number of Th1 and Th17 cells is a marker of active SLE, our finding that R-MSCs infusion reduced the serum level of their master cytokines (IFN-ɣ and IL-17) further supports our conclusion R-MSCs combat the increase of inflammation in vivo more effectiveness than the D-MSCs. This evidence concerns the gene IFNA1 and systemic lupus erythematosus.
