CD4 count above 350 cells/mm3 was not significantly associated with MetS in this study (cHR 1.7, 95% CI 0.8 to 3.6), p=0.143, aHR 1.5, 95% CI 0.67% to 3.35%), p=0.320) (table 3). The gene discussed is CD4; the disease is metabolic syndrome.
