Amongst the PD‐1+CXCR5+ cytotoxic T cells, approximately 25% of the cells were expressing high levels of PD‐1 (PD‐1hi), nevertheless no significant difference was found when the compartments where the cells obtained from (i.e., circulation and lymph nodes) or the data from healthy individuals and breast cancer patients were compared (Figure 2C).
