The development of GD2-targeted therapy has focused on pediatric oncology, including neuroblastomas and osteosarcomas; as a treatment for neuroblastoma, the anti-GD2 antibody dinutuximab showed the improvement of event-free survival as maintenance therapy with alternating granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) and intravenous interleukin-2 (IL-2) and was approved by the FDA in 2015 [71]. Here, CSF2 is linked to osteosarcoma.
