Anti-CD20 monoclonal antibodies such as GA101 [143] or rituximab [144], the c-Abelson tyrosine kinase (c-Abl) inhibitors imatinib or dasatynib [144], or Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (BTK) inhibitors [145] induce non-apoptotic cell death in CD40-stimulated CLL cells and, in turn, restore VTX sensitivity. Here, BTK is linked to B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
