IDH1 and glioblastoma: Interestingly, AAA was more relevant in IDH-mutant astrocytomas, for which it could be used to predict the grade with an accuracy of 95.2% in frozen samples and 85% in FFPE samples, whereas GAA was more relevant in IDH-wt astrocytomas, for which GAA overexpression was significantly associated with the classical form of IDH-wt glioblastoma (grade 4), with an accuracy of 97.2% in frozen samples and 88.2% in FFPE samples.
