Barańska et al. [9] reported an increased risk of TNBC (OR = 1.37; 95% CI: 1.13 to 1.67) and negative-estrogen receptor (ER-) cancers (OR = 1.20; 95% CI: 1.03 to 1.40), but reduced risk for positive-estrogen receptor (ER+) tumors (OR = 0.92; 95% CI: 0.86 to 0.99). Here, ESR1 is linked to cancer.
