Chau NG et al. [45] showed that primary nonthoracic NUT carcinomas with BRD3::NUTM1 or NSD3::NUTM1 fusions have the best overall survival with 36.5 months, in contrast with primary nonthoracic NUT carcinoma with BRD4::NUTM1 fusion, which have a median overall survival of 10 months, and primary thoracic NUT carcinoma with a median overall survival of only 4.4 months [45]. This evidence concerns the gene BRD4 and nut midline carcinoma.
