ABT-263 is an experimental drug with a mechanism of action similar to the more selective Bcl-2 inhibitor venetoclax, which has been reported to significantly improve survival of AML patients who are ineligible for standard chemotherapy (please note that venetoclax had not been approved for AML therapy at the time of sample collection, which is why it was absent from the drug library).39 Here, BCL2 is linked to acute myeloid leukemia.
