These can be characterized as SCLC-like and NSCLC-like, with the SCLC-like subtype exhibiting co-mutations or loss of TP53 and RB1, whereas the NSCLC-like subtype is defined by wild type TP53 and RB1 and presence of mutations typical for NSCLC, such as STK11, KRAS and KEAP [6]. This evidence concerns the gene KRAS and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
