In line with these findings, we found that in our 50 clinical HCC samples, patients with high PAFAH1B3 expression had a larger percentage of CD8 + T cells infiltrated than those with low PAFAH1B3 expression (Fig. 3D), and expression of all TEX marker genes was considerably higher in these patients (Fig. 3E), and the expression of PAFAH1B3 was significantly and positively correlated with the expression of TEX-related marker genes (Fig. 3F). This evidence concerns the gene PAFAH1B3 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
