Next, we further determined the expression levels of the three signature genes based on the expression levels of COL10A1/FAP/FN1 in PC, and the results showed that the expression levels of COL10A1/FAP/FN1 were significantly upregulated in dataset GSE15471 (Fig. 3F–H, logFC > 1.5, P < 0.001), and the results were validated using dataset GSE62165, which also showed that the expression of COL10A1/FAP/FN1 was significantly upregulated compared to the paracancerous tissue (Fig. 3I–K, logFC > 1.5, P < 0.001). The gene discussed is FAP; the disease is pachyonychia congenita.
