We have shown that rhinovirus A1B (RV1B) infection of 6-day-old mice, but not mature mice, induces mucous metaplasia and airway hyperresponsiveness (23) that is associated with ILC2 expansion and dependent on IL-13, IL-25, IL-33, and TSLP (17, 24). Here, TSLP is linked to airway hyperresponsiveness.
