INS and obesity disorder: Metabolically healthy obesity was proved to be associated with lower content of ectopic fat (visceral and liver), better cardiorespiratory fitness, and maintenance of insulin sensitivity and beta cell function [20]; and it was reported that metabolically healthy obesity was associated with a lower risk of some adverse health outcomes, including major adverse cardiovascular events [15], type 2 diabetes [21], and depression [22], compared with metabolically unhealthy obesity.
