The levels of TLR4 and p-p65/p65 were found signally increased, while the IκB-α level was markedly reduced in ALI mice, all of which were sharply reversed by 3 mg/kg and 6 mg/kg HNG (Figure 7A–7D), implying a suppressive effect of HNG on TLR4/NF-κB signaling in ALI mice. This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and acute respiratory distress syndrome.
