To this end, we conducted a large-scale retrospective study involving a multicenter cohort of 2770 patients, with the aim of exploring the value of CRP and AFP in the prognostic evaluation of HCC after resection, and constructed a PACE risk score (Prognostic implications of AFP and CRP Elevation), with the goal of providing clinicians with additional information on tumor biological aggressiveness and systemic inflammatory response. This evidence concerns the gene CRP and hepatocellular carcinoma.
