For each 1-standard deviation (SD) increase in genetically predicted levels of protein, the ORs of CAD were 1.67 (95% CI, 1.34–2.07) for MAP1LC3A, 1.60 (95% CI, 1.35–1.90) for APOB, and 1.43 (95% CI, 1.25–1.65) for PTK7 (Fig. 2B), while 22 circulating proteins were inversely associated with CAD risk, such as MGAT1 (monoacylglycerol O-acyltransferase 1), VIM (vimentin), CNP (C-type natriuretic peptide), and others (Fig. 2).
