CRP and Hyponatremia: Initial laboratory results showed leukocytosis (17,600/μl, normal 4000–10000), anemia (11.4 g/dl, normal 14–18), thrombocytopenia (108,000/μl, normal 140,000–440,000), hyponatremia (125 mEq/l, normal 136–145), increased erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR 36 mm/hour, normal < 20) and normal C-reactive protein (CRP < 6 mg/l, normal < 6).
