In our study, the modulation of MMP-9 inhibitor protein is inhibited and downregulated via cell cycle control at G1 and S phase by epiqafzelechin (Fig. 1), β-sitosterol (Fig. 2) and β-amyrin (Fig. 3), thus can be used as an anticancer therapy for colon tumors. The gene discussed is MMP9; the disease is colonic neoplasm.
