The extracts of the Erythrina genus have revealed anticancer activity against human glioblastoma astrocytoma (U-373), human breast cancer cell line with estrogen, progesterone, and glucocorticoid receptors (MCF-7), human epithelial breast cancer (MDA-MB-231), human melanoma (SKMEL-28), murine melanoma (B16F10), human promyelocytic leukemia (HL-60), lung cancer (H2108, H1299, H411E), human adenocarcinoma alveolar basal epithelial (A549), and human gastric cancer (SGC-7901) cells. Here, NR3C1 is linked to gastric cancer.
