Previous studies have found that expression of METTL3 and WTAP are regulated by androgen in PC cell lines, as well as increased expression of METTL3 plays a pro-tumor role in PC, while METTL3 silencing resulted in upregulation of AR, together with 134 AR-regulated genes [23, 24]. The gene discussed is WTAP; the disease is pachyonychia congenita.
