In the subset analysis of 50 patients hospitalized by day 14 (Table S1), laboratory measurements within the first 3 days of admission indicated lymphopenia (absolute lymphocytes, 0.7 [0.5–1.1] × 109/L), with inflammation present but relatively mild as indicated by levels of C-reactive protein (62.2 [33.6–99.1] mg/L), d-dimer (900 [531–1459] ng/mL FEU) and ferritin (559 [250–890] mcg/L). Here, CRP is linked to lymphopenia.
