The results in Fig. 6A, B shows that immune-related pathways (e.g., interferon_gamma_response, interferon_alpha_response, TNFα_signaling_via_NFKB, IL6_JAK_STAT3, natural killer cell-mediated cytotoxicity, antigen processing and presentation, cytokine receptor interaction, NOD-like receptor, and Toll-like receptor (TLR) signaling pathways) presented higher scores in cluster B while lower scores in cluster A. The regulatory role of natural killer cell-mediated cytotoxicity pathway in the tumor immunity of ovarian cancer has been highlighted in several previous literature [62–66]. This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and ovarian carcinoma.
