In this hypothesis‐generating study, the small‐molecule covalent CDK7 inhibitor THZ1 might selectively inhibit certain pancreatic ductal adenocarcinomas (PDACs) with KRAS‐G12V mutation more potently compared with some other PDACs with KRAS‐G12D mutation, which might be associated with its effect on super‐enhancer activity and the PI3K/AKT/mTOR‐signalling. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma.
