Recently, GSTM2 was shown to be a key molecular determinant of resistance of prostate to several second-generation androgen receptor inhibitors (SG-ARIs), and aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) is the upstream transcription factor that induce the overexpression of GSTM2 in enzalutamide-resistant PCa [49]. This evidence concerns the gene AHR and posterior cortical atrophy.
