We found that across 18 different AML cell lines, the 50 most essential genes (Supplementary Table S1A) include mainly ribosome proteins (e.g., RPL11, RPS6) and splicing factors (e.g., SNRPE) pointing towards the importance of post-transcriptional mechanisms in AML (Fig. 1A).
