Serum levels of the inflammatory biomarkers (TNF-α, IL6, and CRP) were statistically significantly higher in the diabetic patients with CAD (57.9±9.0, 49.9, and 7.9) compared with the healthy participants (3.7±1.4, 3.7, and 2.1) and diabetic patients without CAD (32.4±6.5, 28.7, and 6.3) (P≤0.001, each). Here, CRP is linked to coronary artery disorder.
