Jiang et al. (2020) found that miR-144-3p was significantly downregulated in lung cancer cell lines and could effectively suppressed TGF-β1-induced lung cancer cell invasion and adhesion by regulating the Src-Akt-Erk pathway. Another study found that miR-144-3p expression was downregulated and could inhibit the Nrf2 pathway during the cisplatin resistance process in lung cancer cells (Yin et al., 2018). This evidence concerns the gene TGFB1 and lung carcinoma.
