GMNL-77 decreased skin erythema and scaling, inhibited hyperplastic suprabasal keratinocytes, suppressed mRNA expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines, including TNF-a, IL-6, and the IL-23/IL-17A axis–associated cytokines (IL-23, IL-17A/F, and IL-22), in skin lesions, decreased the spleen weight, and also reduced the numbers of IL-17/IL-22-producing CD4+ T cells in the spleen (Chen et al., 2017). The gene discussed is IL17A; the disease is Erythema.
