The past decade has seen the unprecedented growth of CAFs research in many fields, as shown in Fig. 8B, especially in breast cancer, pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer, gastric cancer, lung cancer and ovarian cancer, etc. The reason may be that CAFs was closely related to the occurrence, development, metastasis and drug resistance of tumors, and the related research of CAFs was getting deeper and more mature. The gene discussed is TBX1; the disease is breast cancer.
