Dynasore is a well-studied small-molecule noncompetitive inhibitor of dynamin that blocks dynamin scission (Macia et al., 2006; Preta et al., 2015), and has been extensively used in studies of entry and infection of different viruses in cell culture systems (Abban et al., 2008; Huang et al., 2011; Mulherkar et al., 2011; Rahn et al., 2011; Lee et al., 2013; Carro et al., 2018; Bayati et al., 2021).
