RBBP4 and neoplasm: The non-coding RNA KTN1-AS1 binds to HDAC1 via RBBP4 in esophageal cancer to weaken the acetylation of histone H3 (ac-H3) at the promoter region of E-cadherin, thereby activating epithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT), an important process of tumor malignant progression (Chen et al., 2022).
