In comparison with the non-AKI group (N = 64), the NT-proBNP level was significantly higher in the AKI group (N = 27) [574.0 ng/L (180.0–1,722.3) vs. 1,720.0 ng/L (830.0–5,223.0); median difference 1,012.0 ng/L, 95% CI: 403.0–2,594.0, P = 0.002]. Here, NPPB is linked to acute kidney injury.
