Serum YKL-40 was positively linked with hyperlipidemia (P = 0.014) and DM (P = 0.001) but not with age (P = 0.622), sex (P = 0.622), BMI (P = 0.077), smoking (P = 0.703), hypertension (P = 0.095), or chronic kidney disease (CKD) (P = 0.296) in CHD patients (Figures 2A–H). This evidence concerns the gene CHI3L1 and hyperlipidemia.
