Breast cancer is classified into three subtypes: the luminal subtypes that express estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone receptor (PR), the human epidermal receptor 2 (HER2)-positive, and the triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), which does not express any of the three receptors (Cosar et al., 2022).
